I'm sick of hearing how people on the Welfare are too lazy to have a job.
I grew up mainly on the Welfare. But before that my mom had worked two jobs, while studying for her GED. She didn't have a diploma, because she was too busy giving birth to me.
And then she got sick.
Real sick.
So we had to go on Welfare.
And even pre all the damned cuts Reagan, two Bushes and a Clinton rammed right on through, at the end of the month, mashed potatoes or corn meal was dinner, the heat and the phone turned off constantly even during a cold PA winter, you could see the gravel through our living room floor of our trailer.
Hell squatting in LA and Philly was an upgrade on my life condition.
Do you really think, I mean really believe, anybody wants to live like that?
Stop buying in to the Ronald Reagan era horsehit, think for yourself, or you can try living under the much more punitive welfare regulations we have now. If you've got a brain in your head you'll either be raiding a CEO's house or looking through the want ads within a week, let alone a month.

You're so fucking afraid that the Republicans will fillibuster you, that you wont try and do anything. Well guess what? They'll fillibuster you on their own ideas. They don't view politics as doing the people's business, they view it like winning a football game, it doesn't matter if you play dirty, just so long as you win most have you have been in Washington long enough to have figured that out.
I know you're all very nice people who were raised to play nice with the other children, but every kid who went through an underfunded public school knows, if someone's a bully occasionally you gotta bust 'em in the chops to survive.
You aren't in Washington to further your own ambitions assholes, you're there to cover your district's ass. And you're not doing it right now.

And if you aren't willing to do that, maybe the Green Party can put up some candidates that will.
